Congrats to Heidi & John!

Heidi & John arrived on the Ruby Princess and were married on Brewer's Bay Beach this last Wednesday. They had chosen our old Sweet Memories package which does not include an on-site wedding planner so I didn't get to go. =( But I did snap a picture of Heidi's bouquet before it was delivered to her - my "favorite thing" as part of my October favorites! What could be better than those orange ranunculus!?

A cookie after my own heart....

Can you tell what these are??

Seahorse cookies!! We had an absolutely GORGEOUS wedding this morning at Lindquist Beach for a lovely couple coming in on a cruise ship. Our bride is just as crazy for seahorses as I am and requested seahorse cookies instead of a wedding cake. Our bakery, VI Desserts, didn't have a seahorse cookies cutter, so I found one on eBay. Now...the eBay listing said it was 4" and I didn't really think to measure it but these things were much bigger than 4"! Closer to 6 in fact. They looked awesome and the bakery was able to do the icing in the brides wedding colors. VI Desserts can use my cookie cutter anytime, so if you like them too, don't be shy to order. They have their own starfish cookie cutter that makes a great awesome starfish cookie as well.

A big bonus of these cookies? The royal icing hardens, but isn't hard, if that makes sense. Very, very little mess involved - virtually none at all.

Congrats Cliff & Sarah! I hope you sail off into the sunset on the Ruby Princess with fond memories of St. Thomas!

It's catchy!

It caught on and on and on...

I just love this video that a client shared with me, highlighting her engagement! The happy couple sent the video out along with their Save The Date information and have a WHOPPING 100 guests coming with them on their wedding cruise. If you don't know already, 100 guests cruising with you for your wedding is IMPRESSIVE! At most, we normally have 30, no more than 40 guests when it comes to a cruise ship wedding. 100 is A LOT.

We're really looking forward to your wedding day next month - I know this crowd knows how to PARTY (the groom is a fireman and I think he's bringing his whole department with him....let's hope for no fires the first two weeks of December!!!).
