I know I have been sharing a lot of links lately - I do hope to have some time to share some of my own photos soon, but for now, I want to share another fabulous event captured by another off island photographer - Elisha Orin. My couple, Aviva and Andrew, were married at the St. Thomas Synagogue. I have a whole blog post in my head dedicated to these two! I will hopefully get that done before the end of the week, but in the meantime, you must check out their wedding feature on Destination Inspirations.com:

I love the different perspectives!
It's interesting for me to see the highlights of a wedding when the photographer was brought in from off island. I'm used to the work that the local photographers produce - their stuff is beautiful of course, but being that I work with them on a daily basis, I have a good sense of their style and images. But when a different photographer comes to shoot one of my weddings, I always love to see the highlights! Check out this amazing slideshow from a wedding we did late last year...

Isn't the bride like, unbelievably gorgeous? She has this infectious smile on her face all day, it was amazing! I knew her face had to hurt by the end of the day! They had an wonderful group of friends and family join them and it was a fun day to be apart of. I just love the images that her photographer, Mark Staff of Mark Staff Photography captured. Totally magazine quality stuff!

A feel good wedding...
Don't Mason jars make you happy? They make me happy. The remind me of growing up in a small town in Indiana - my grandmothers used them to can everything from green beans to strawberry jam. There was a shelf in our basement full of them. They just remind of childhood, which was a great, fun loving, carefree time. I just love this bride's idea of incorporating them into her wedding day:
They were spread out among the dinner tables, placed on top of the burlap runner that she had custom made. She also had these great menu cards and name tags, clipped to each place setting with a mini-clothespin.
I wish I had a picture of everything put together for you, but I can promise it looked beautiful!
Want to see my FAVORITE part? The wedding favors! See, this wedding took place at the beautiful Sand Dollar Estates. On each place setting was a little woven straw box with two sand dollar cookies from LuLu's Cookies!
LOVE how the favor and the name of the villa coordinated. Just beautiful!
