I meant to get this blogged before my trip last month! Stacia was so nice to send me these images from her wedding on Lime Tree Beach, shot by Elisha Orin Photography!
Congrats again Stacia & John, it was such an honor to be a part of your day!

Congrats to Olive & Nathan!
I can't say how much this video made me smile! It's just gorgeous - thank you to Chris Angeles Films! Olive & Nathan flew Chris in just to film the wedding and I can see why. Great work!
And check out the photos by Elisha Orin
Did Olive and Nathan hit the talent jackpot or what?

Villa Serendipity Wedding
Yesterday was such a beautiful wedding - I just downloaded the images and am going to blog them here - I think that's the fastest I have ever blogged a wedding!
First we had the ceremony at Lime Tree Beach with beautiful mason jars and a full rose petals aisle.
This bride chose an amazing bouquet - be warned - she paid a lot more for it - but it was GORGEOUS.
With of course, our signature seahorse!
The reception was then held at Villa Serendipity - all events on St. Thomas. Heavy appetizers were provided by Passion Fruit Chefs, music by DJ Snow and photography by Elisha Orin (all photos here were taken by me though).
I love their favors - these CD covers were adorable.
Wedding cakes by Island Sweet Stuff:
We brought these twine wrapped vases for the bridal party to put their flowers in and reused the mason jars from the ceremony to add more flowers to the reception.
You cannot beat this view!
These centerpieces turned out awesome - the twigs created an even large effect.
Congrats Katie & Brooks!

Oppenheimer Beach Weddings
Ah, it's only March 5th and we're already 8 weddings into the month! I have to warn you, March/April/May are busy/busy/busy. Please forgive me for any delays in email but please do email instead of call - emails is always the best way to reach me.
Now that's out of the way, please enjoy these AMAZING photos by Elisha Orin Photography from our wedding on Oppenheimer Beach last month. I love this location, just love it. So awesome for a wedding. I once had a couple cancel their Oppenheimer wedding because they couldn't envision it there. Such a shame. At the end of this reception the groom told me "THIS is the place to be!". Everyone loved it!
First we had a few drinks at Trunk Bay before the ceremony.
How stunning was this bride & groom?!
We moved everyone to Oppenheimer for the reception.
Lovely lantern details. =)
Such a fun crowd and such a great couple! Thanks Elisha for these photos!

Goodbye July!
I'm so giddy over the fact that July is just almost over! We had our last wedding of July on Saturday night and it felt like such an accomplishment. Our "busy season" is normally April through June but this year we have been so fortunate to be busy with work that our busy season really extended from March through July. While we are still busy in August, it's not BUSY BUSY like the last five months have been. We start to ease into slow season now before things pick back up in November. It's this time of year that I get to go away (I'll be off island from August 15th to September 10th but only away from email from Sept 6th to the 10th). I get to head to the states and pretend to be a Statesider for a few weeks which means hundreds of trips to Target, the mall and of course my favorite fast food restaurants - none of these items are available here in the islands. It's also the time of year that we get to revamp packages, evaluate business practices and prepare for another busy 2013. Our packages are all going to be changing within the next few weeks and I have some pretty exciting things that we'll be offering up as well. I'll be sure to make an announcement when the new packages are revealed and of course, how the new packages won't affect any of the old pricing (if you are already booked, you'll have your choice of keeping your old package or switching to one of the new packages, you won't be forced into a new package).
I can't end a post without photos so I wanted to share this beautiful email I just received from one of our May brides and some gorgeous photos exquisitely captured by Elisha Orin of her wedding day...
Hi Janelle!
I hope you're doing well and enjoying the summer. I hope you're not
working too hard. I wanted to share with you our pictures from Elisha.
She did a great job and I can't help but keep flipping through them to
try my best and re-live that day. The day was bigger and more
beautiful then what I ever could have dreamed of as a little girl, and
to know that my family and friends had the time of their lives and had
an experience they never had before....was just priceless.
Thank you again for everything.

There's always at least one party pooper!

Simply the coolest.

I simply loved this bride and groom. You can tell by their photos that they just oooze coolness. They live in New York (cool points), they are artists (more cool points), the groom is originally from the islands (extra cool points). Her veil? Blows the coolness factor out of the water.
This couples stayed at the Marriott Frenchman's Reef, were married in front of a 130 of their closest friends and family on the lawn of Oceana with the reception following. DJ'd by one of the best (DJ Snow) and photographed by the awesome Elisha Orin.

Parasols instead of flowers...
I think this is such a great idea, especially when you have a large bridal party. A maids bouquet can be as inexpensive as $30 but a full sized maids bouquet is typically $75. If you have six maids...yikes, that can add up quick. I love the simple white against the freshness of their blue dresses...these parasols are a perfectly beautiful alternative to flowers.

Thank you Elisha Orin for the photos above. Here are a few others I found online showing different colors:
